Before & After

This series is an honest look at how a photograph is processed from start to finish. Not all photos are shot in ideal or controlled conditions especially with the unpredictability of mother nature. Taking a photo is half the battle and processing is the other. Processing is a powerful way to articulate your unique vision.

The sun was setting when I shot this, and I wasn't too impressed with the light when I looked at the raw file. I almost deleted this, but I loved the composition and movement. I knew this would be a great candidate for a black and white edit.
